Frontend Developer - Remote

Role overview

Contract, part-time Frontend Engineer (remote-first). You will design and build scalable web interfaces and help deliver seamless, intuitive, and robust user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable frontend web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ship high-quality solutions
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize performance for speed and scalability
• Apply frontend best practices, including code reviews and continuous integration
• Translate complex requirements into clean, reusable code components
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications to enhance performance and UX
• Communicate proactively and clearly to support effective remote collaboration

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript and strong hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks
• Proven ability to deliver production-ready web applications
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code aligned with industry standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously while aligning with team goals
• Proven experience resolving complex frontend issues

Nice to have

• Experience building accessible and responsive web applications
• Experience in distributed, remote-first teams
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern development workflows
