Frontend Developer - Remote

Role Overview

Contract, part-time Frontend Engineer (Remote). You will design and build scalable, user-friendly web interfaces and collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver strong user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize for speed and scalability
• Apply frontend best practices: code reviews and continuous integration (CI)
• Translate complex requirements into clean, reusable UI components
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications for performance and user satisfaction
• Communicate clearly and proactively to support remote-first team culture

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks
• Proven delivery of production-ready web applications
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code aligned with industry standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration
• Ability to work autonomously while aligned with team goals
• Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex frontend issues

Nice to Have

• Experience building accessible and responsive web applications
