Frontend Engineer (Contract, Part-time) — Remote

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable frontend interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript
• Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize performance (speed, scalability)
• Apply frontend engineering best practices, including code reviews and CI
• Translate complex requirements into clean, reusable components
• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to improve performance and user satisfaction
• Communicate clearly and proactively to support strong remote collaboration

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks
• Proven ability delivering production-ready web applications
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code aligned with industry standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote work
• Ability to work autonomously while staying aligned with team goals
• Strong detail orientation and commitment to excellent user experience
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex frontend issues

Nice to Have

• Experience building accessible and responsive web apps
