Frontend Developer - Remote

Role Overview

Contract, part-time Frontend Engineer (Remote). You will craft seamless, intuitive, and robust web applications while collaborating with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver solutions
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize performance (speed and scalability)
• Apply frontend best practices, including code reviews and CI/CD
• Translate complex requirements into clean, efficient, reusable components
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications for performance and user satisfaction
• Communicate clearly and proactively in a remote-first setting

Requirements

• Expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks
• Proven track record delivering production-ready web applications
• Ability to write clear, maintainable code following industry standards
• Strong written and verbal communication for effective remote collaboration
• Ability to work autonomously while aligning with team goals
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex frontend issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building accessible and responsive web applications
• Background working in distributed/remote-first teams
