Frontend Developer (Remote)

Role Overview

Frontend Engineer (contract, part-time, remote). You will architect, develop, and maintain scalable web interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript, helping build high-quality input systems that support the training and refinement of next-generation AI models.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable frontend web interfaces for applications across domains (finance, healthcare, engineering, etc.)
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver cross-functional solutions
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize for speed, scalability, and performance
• Apply frontend best practices: code reviews, continuous integration, and maintainable codebases
• Translate complex requirements into clean, reusable components; troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems
• Communicate clearly and proactively (written and verbal) to support a strong collaborative team culture

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with experience using modern frontend frameworks/libraries
• Experience building scalable web interfaces with a focus on performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (design, product, backend)
• Knowledge of frontend best practices including code reviews, CI, and version control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to turn complex requirements into reusable code
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive approach to collaboration and delivery

Contract Details

• Part-time contract
• Pay: $20–$70/hour
