Frontend Developer (React+Foundry)

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Engineer for the WiRE platform team, supporting wildfire mitigation and compliance reporting systems built on Palantir Foundry. You will build a React + TypeScript frontend hosted within Foundry to help users explore, validate, and extract audit-ready compliance data.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain React + TypeScript applications integrated with the Foundry platform.
• Create reusable UI components for:
  • Data exploration (filters, drill-downs)
  • Data validation workflows
  • Data extraction and submission flows
• Integrate the frontend with Palantir Foundry via SDKs/APIs and align UI with evolving data schemas.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define and enforce data contracts/interfaces.
• Design compliance & audit-focused UI that supports auditability, traceability, and data transparency.
• Keep business logic minimal in the UI and rely on validated backend datasets.
• Build validation and submission user flows, including:
  • File upload and schema validation
  • Real-time validation feedback with pass/fail messaging and detailed logs
  • Scalable, structured validation frameworks
• Work with data engineers, product managers/PMO stakeholders, and SME teams on reporting requirements.
• Participate in Agile workflows (planning, backlog refinement, delivery cycles).

Required Qualifications

• Strong enterprise experience with React.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience building data-driven UI applications (API-integrated frontends).
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (schemas, structured datasets).
• Awareness of UI performance considerations for large datasets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Palantir Foundry (or similar data platforms).
• Experience integrating with SDKs/APIs for structured data access.
• Exposure to ontology/metadata-driven systems.
• Experience with compliance/audit or regulated environments.
• Experience with data validation/quality frameworks.
