About the role

Role Overview

Frontend Developer (full-time) on a fully remote Front-End team. You’ll build and improve the product’s UI/UX and technical foundation, owning end-to-end product quality.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to influence how features are built
Take ownership of end-to-end product quality to improve reliability of the app/website
Write high-quality code beyond just unit tests and coverage
Identify opportunities to automate and package reusable code
Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, patterns, and paradigms
Work closely with the lead designer and contribute to UI/UX quality
Apply strong logical skills to anticipate edge cases and handle different issues

Technologies / Projects (focus areas)

Enhancing UI/UX and streamlining operations
Improving the app’s technical foundation
“Cool tech” areas (context): Chatbots, computer vision, data visualization, machine learning, natural language processing, video processing/conferencing

Requirements

Profound knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
Strong, practical experience with Next.js
Recent, practical experience with React.js
Experience communicating with RESTful services
Experience with testing (e.g. Jest)
Experience with JavaScript bundling (e.g. Webpack)
Deep knowledge of CSS and CSS preprocessors (e.g. Sass)
Deep knowledge of GraphQL
