Role Overview

Senior Front-End Developer (Remote, USA) with deep expertise in React and Next.js, plus GCP experience. This is a 12+ month contract.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain front-end features using React and Next.js, with strong component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
Translate Figma designs into accessible React components in close collaboration with design teams.
Apply UI/UX engineering best practices: responsive layouts, design systems, component libraries, and interaction patterns.
Implement and optimize rendering strategies using CSR and SSR in Next.js, including:
- Static Generation
- Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR)
Develop front-end applications in a serverless context and integrate them with cloud-hosted APIs/services.

Proven advanced experience with React and Next.js.
Strong accessibility-focused implementation of Figma designs.
Solid understanding of Next.js rendering patterns (CSR/SSR, SSG, ISR).
Working knowledge of GCP services, including:
- Firebase
- Cloud Run
- App Engine
- Google Cloud Functions
Experience integrating front-end applications with cloud-hosted APIs/services.

Experience building within a design-system and component-library driven workflow.
Strong UI/UX engineering focus on interaction patterns and responsive behavior.
