About the role

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Engineer (Remote) working on a Palantir Foundry-based data platform. You will build React + TypeScript user interfaces that integrate tightly with Foundry datasets and ontology objects to support audit-ready, scalable workflows.

Responsibilities

Frontend Development

Build and maintain React + TypeScript applications integrated into the Foundry platform
Create reusable UI components for:
- Data exploration (filters, drill-downs)
- Data validation workflows
- Data extraction and submission flows

Data Integration (Key Focus)

Integrate the frontend with Palantir Foundry Ontology via SDK/APIs
Consume structured datasets and keep UI components aligned with evolving data schemas
Partner with backend engineers to define and enforce data contracts and interfaces

Compliance & Audit-Focused UI

Design UI that supports auditability, traceability, and data transparency
Ensure outputs align with regulatory reporting requirements (OEIS / WMP)
Keep business logic minimal in the UI, relying on validated backend datasets

Validation & Submission Workflows

Build user flows for file upload and schema validation
Provide real-time validation feedback (pass/fail messaging + detailed logs)
Support scalable validation frameworks for compliance data

Product & Stakeholder Collaboration

Work with data engineers, product managers/PMO stakeholders, and SME teams defining reporting requirements
Participate in agile workflows (planning, backlog refinement, delivery cycles)

Requirements

Strong experience with React in enterprise applications
Proficient in TypeScript
Experience building data-driven UI applications integrated with APIs
Solid understanding of data modeling (schemas, structured datasets)
Awareness of performance considerations for large datasets in the UI

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar data platforms
Experience integrating with SDKs/APIs for structured data access
Experience with ontology/metadata-driven systems
Exposure to compliance, audit, or regulated environments
Experience with data validation/quality frameworks and internal enterprise tools
