About the role

Role: Frontend Developer

You’ll help shape Clara Guide’s next chapter as an early-stage Front-End Engineer. This is an equity-only role with web focus today and mobile interfaces planned for future phases.

What you’ll own

Build modular, scalable web interfaces (native app work planned later)
Collaborate with product and backend teams to deliver clean, robust front-end architecture
Own the user experience: design, incorporate feedback, and iterate quickly
Ensure interface consistency and performance aligned to clinical workflows

Who you’re looking for

Strong opinions on frontend structure, especially for secure, mission-critical systems
Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain technical decisions clearly
Independent, high-output mindset—fast execution and efficient delivery
Prior experience with web ecosystems; native app familiarity is a plus
Clinical/healthcare experience is welcome but not required

Work & location

Full remote-friendly setup
Preference for candidates near Seattle for occasional collaboration
Remote-first with flexibility for team calls and occasional co-working
