About the role

Role overview

You will work with CLARA at the product’s early stage as a Frontend Developer (Front-End Engineer), helping shape the next chapter of the “Clara Guide” experience.

Responsibilities

Build modular, scalable web interfaces
Collaborate with product and backend teams to deliver clean, robust front-end architecture
Own the user experience: design, incorporate feedback, and iterate quickly
Ensure interface consistency and performance driven by clinical workflows

Requirements

Strong, well-informed opinions on how to structure front-end systems, especially for secure, mission-critical environments
Excellent written and verbal communication, able to clearly explain technical decisions
Independent, high-output mindset; fast execution
Prior experience in web ecosystems (native app familiarity is a plus)
Clinical/healthcare experience is welcome but not required

Work model & location

Remote-first with flexibility to align on team calls
Preference for candidates near Seattle for occasional collaboration/co-working

Compensation

Equity-only (no salary at this early stage)
