About the role

Role Overview

You’ll be an early-stage Front-End Engineer for Clara Guide (CLARA). This is an equity-only, full-time role focused on web today, with mobile interfaces planned for later phases.

Responsibilities

Build modular, scalable web interfaces (native app work planned for future phases)
Collaborate with product and backend teams to deliver clean, robust front-end architecture
Own the user experience: design, translate feedback, and iterate quickly
Ensure interface consistency and performance driven by clinical workflows

Requirements

Strong opinions on front-end structure, especially for secure, mission-critical systems
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to clearly explain technical decisions
Independent, high-output mindset with fast execution
Prior experience in web ecosystems

Nice-to-haves

Familiarity with native app development
Clinical or healthcare experience

Work & Location

Full remote-friendly setup with preference for candidates near Seattle, WA for occasional collaboration
Remote-first with flexibility to align with team calls and occasional co-working

Additional Notes

Equity-only compensation (no salary at this early stage)
