Frontend Developer - Javascript (Remote)

Role overview

Contract Frontend Developer (JavaScript) working remote (work from anywhere). You’ll maintain and enhance web applications, developing scalable frontend and backend components and ensuring strong performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize frontend components using JavaScript, React, and related libraries
• Build and maintain backend services with Node.js and Express for RESTful APIs
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate frontend and backend systems
• Write clean, modular, well-documented code following best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs

Required skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks like React
• Experience with Node.js, Express, and backend API development
• Familiarity with state management: Redux or Context API
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
• Experience with Git
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
• Ability to work effectively in a remote/distributed team
