Frontend Developer - Javascript (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract Frontend Developer (JavaScript, Remote). You’ll help maintain and enhance web applications by building both frontend and backend components, ensuring strong performance and an excellent user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize frontend components using JavaScript and React
• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express for RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend systems
• Write clean, modular, well-documented code following best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs

Required Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks like React
• Experience with Node.js, Express, and backend API development
• Familiarity with state management (Redux or Context API)
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
• Understanding of Git
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest or Mocha)
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environment

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working on high-performance web applications

Contract Details

• Remote (work from anywhere)
• $20–$55/hour
