About the role
Role Overview
Join a federal consulting team as a Frontend Developer (Angular) to build and modernize high-performance web applications. You will work closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to implement design systems and deliver responsive, accessible user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Implement and refine design system components from wireframes and prototypes
- Develop reusable UI components and integrate them with backend services
- Ensure responsive and cross-platform compatibility
- Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, accessibility) to validate functionality and performance
- Ensure deliverables meet Section 508 accessibility requirements
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Update sprint artifacts and coordinate with cross-functional teams for on-time delivery
- Create technical documentation for UI components (usage and integration guides)
- Support deployment processes and provide Tier 2 production support for frontend issues
- Maintain code quality and adhere to coding standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years with Angular (10+ versions)
- Strong modern JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- 2+ years with utility-first CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap)
- 2+ years with Angular state management (e.g., NgRx, RxJS)
- Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Angular testing frameworks: Jasmine, Karma, Jest
- Experience with component libraries: Angular Material
- Ability to integrate with RESTful APIs
- Experience practicing Agile development
- Strong collaboration and communication skills

- Must handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and follow strict safeguarding and compliance protocols
