Frontend Developer (JavaScript, CSS)

Role Overview

Join a federal consulting team as a Frontend Developer (Angular) to build and modernize high-performance web applications. You will work closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to implement design systems and deliver responsive, accessible user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Implement and refine design system components from wireframes and prototypes
• Develop reusable UI components and integrate them with backend services
• Ensure responsive and cross-platform compatibility
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, accessibility) to validate functionality and performance
• Ensure deliverables meet Section 508 accessibility requirements
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Update sprint artifacts and coordinate with cross-functional teams for on-time delivery
• Create technical documentation for UI components (usage and integration guides)
• Support deployment processes and provide Tier 2 production support for frontend issues
• Maintain code quality and adhere to coding standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years with Angular (10+ versions)
• Strong modern JavaScript and TypeScript skills
• 2+ years with utility-first CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap)
• 2+ years with Angular state management (e.g., NgRx, RxJS)
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards
• Experience with Git
• Experience with Angular testing frameworks: Jasmine, Karma, Jest
• Experience with component libraries: Angular Material
• Ability to integrate with RESTful APIs
• Experience practicing Agile development
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
