About the role

Role Overview

My3Tech Inc is seeking a Front-End Developer / User Interface Designer to support mission-critical projects for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) and the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles (NCDMV). The role focuses on building modern, responsive web applications and user-centric interfaces within SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Power Platform environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications and user interfaces aligned to project requirements and usability standards.
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure user-centric design.
Create prototypes, mockups, and visual designs to communicate ideas and collect feedback.
Implement and customize SharePoint pages, lists, libraries, and content types.
Use Vue.js (and other JavaScript frameworks) to build interactive web components.
Leverage SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools (e.g., workflow automation and custom apps).
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure performance and user experience.
Work with the Web Systems team to meet timelines and quality standards.
Stay current with web development trends and SharePoint capabilities to continuously improve solutions.

Requirements

Proven front-end web development experience, especially with Vue.js.
Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills.
Knowledge of NPM and package management.
Experience building user interfaces and interactive solutions in SharePoint (including SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online).
Familiarity with SharePoint lists, libraries, site columns, and content types.
Proficiency with Visual Studio Code (or similar editors).
Experience designing user experiences (e.g., prototyping, mockups, CSS styling).
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders for requirements, testing facilitation, and issue support.
Strong communication and proactive problem-solving.

Nice to Have

Experience with SharePoint Online in the Government Cloud (GCC or GCC-High).

Location / Work Setup

Must be local to the Triangle region of North Carolina.
Occasional in-office meetings required up to 1–2 days per month.
