Frontend Developer -Javascript

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Developer to build and own major features for VECTR, SRA’s flagship cybersecurity tool used for purple team collaboration and adversary simulation reporting.

Responsibilities

• Translate mockups and wireframes into production-ready Vue 3 components using best practices.
• Develop and deploy complete features from high-level requirements, iterating with product and backend teams.
• Make thoughtful UI/UX decisions to expand design concepts into intuitive, accessible interfaces.
• Establish and maintain reusable design patterns and components for consistency.
• Optimize frontend performance and ensure responsive, accessible UI.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot frontend issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend development experience in the Vue 3 ecosystem.
• Expertise in Vue 3 Composition API, Vue Router, Pinia, and PrimeVue.
• Proficiency with Tailwind CSS.
• Strong fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong design intuition for interpreting mockups created in Balsamiq, Figma, or Photoshop.
• Ability to independently make UI/UX decisions with minimal guidance.
• Experience with Git workflows.
• Hands-on experience with modern build tools: Vite (preferred) and/or Webpack.
• Experience integrating frontend apps with backend APIs via GraphQL and REST.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and independent priority management.

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with Linux, Docker, and containerization.
• WCAG accessibility standards.
• Testing experience with Playwright (or other frameworks).
• Knowledge of Java and/or backend code review.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
