Role Overview

Contract JavaScript Developer (Remote)

• Compensation: $20–$55/hour
• Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable and reusable JavaScript code for web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features and deliver enhancements
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues across the application stack
• Maintain clear documentation to support collaboration and continuity
• Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate relevant innovations
• Communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience as a JavaScript developer in modern engineering environments
• Strong JavaScript skills, including modern frameworks and libraries
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Excellent English written and verbal communication
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with Agile practices and collaborative tools
