Frontend Developer I

Join HiredBuddy as a Frontend Developer I to build engaging, responsive web experiences and contribute to real-world features users rely on.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Translate designs from Figma or Sketch into pixel-perfect, cross-browser interfaces
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and present data
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
Optimize applications for speed and scalability
Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and suggest improvements
Work in an Agile environment (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
Assist with maintaining component libraries and design systems
Troubleshoot and resolve UI issues reported by users or QA

Requirements

0–2 years of frontend development experience (internships/personal projects count)
HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) proficiency
Familiarity with at least one modern framework: React, Vue, or Angular
Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first principles
Basic knowledge of Git (version control)
Knowledge of RESTful services and asynchronous request handling
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Sass or LESS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Web Development (or equivalent practical experience)
Portfolio or GitHub repo showcasing frontend work is encouraged
