Role Overview

Join DataAnnotation as a Frontend Developer to help train and evaluate AI models. You’ll review AI chatbot performance, assess the quality of their responses, and solve coding problems to improve model outcomes.

Responsibilities

Create and/or administer coding challenges for AI chatbots
Evaluate outputs for correctness and performance
Solve coding problems and explain how each solution addresses the prompt
Analyze results and contribute to improving model quality

Requirements

Proficiency in either Python and/or JavaScript
Ability to solve coding problems (e.g., LeetCode / HackerRank-style)
Strong algorithm and data structures fundamentals
Detail-oriented with solid debugging workflows
Fluent English (native or bilingual)

Nice-to-haves

A current, in-progress, or completed Masters and/or PhD (preferred)

Contract & Location

Independent contract role
Remote (full-time or part-time)
Only applicants in New Zealand are considered
Paid hourly starting at $50–75+/hr, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
