About the role

Role Overview

Frontend Developer focused on Vue.js (and CSS) to build and integrate custom web applications in a microservices architecture. You may support both front-end and back-end components as needed to deliver accessible, mobile-friendly, and high-performance applications for government clients.

Responsibilities

Collaborate cross-functionally in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality web applications.
Build, update, and maintain custom web applications within a microservices architecture.
Support both front-end and back-end tasks to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Implement and adhere to accessibility standards (including Section 508).
Work with project managers and stakeholders to address emerging client needs and requirements.
Manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with quality.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to resolve issues quickly.

Requirements

5+ years custom web application development experience.
3+ years experience with Vue.js (version 3+).
5+ years full-stack development experience, including UI frameworks and backend architecture.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and CSS.
Strong experience developing and consuming FastAPI and/or RESTful web services.
Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
Experience with CI (Continuous Integration) processes.
Knowledge of mobile responsiveness and accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience working with the federal government.
Familiarity with Vite, Quasar, or Pinia.
Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience with Python backend development.
Familiarity with SAFe or Scrum environments with short sprint cycles.
