About the role

Role Overview

As a Frontend Developer (Front-End Engineer) at Blueprint, you’ll build engaging, high-quality web experiences by implementing new features, fixing defects, and refining user interfaces. You’ll work with a small, collaborative engineering team to translate design specifications into polished, production-ready applications with strong focus on performance, accessibility, and code quality.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver front-end features and enhancements
Develop, test, and maintain responsive, accessible, production-ready UIs
Translate Figma designs and interaction specifications into pixel-perfect implementations
Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects while minimizing regressions through thorough testing
Extend and maintain existing design systems and front-end frameworks
Optimize for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
Integrate front-end apps with REST APIs and JSON-based services
Participate in code reviews and follow coding, quality, accessibility, and security standards
Track work and communicate progress using project management tools
Implement telemetry, performance monitoring, and error tracking where applicable
Contribute to continuous improvements in front-end architecture, tooling, and development practices

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience
5–7 years of professional front-end development experience
Strong proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS
Experience building responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces from design specs
Experience with React and familiarity with modern frameworks (Vue, Angular, Svelte, Solid.js)
Experience with HTML Canvas and interactive web applications
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON integration, and asynchronous programming
Experience with Node.js, npm, Git, and Visual Studio Code
Experience with modern build tools such as Webpack or Vite

Nice to Have / Additional Context

Knowledge of the full web development lifecycle (planning through development)
