About the role

Role Overview

Join Carecron as a Senior Frontend Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces for fleet management. You’ll collaborate with product, backend, and design teams to deliver seamless experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain responsive UI components for the fleet management platform.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create intuitive interfaces for fleet managers, dispatchers, and drivers.
Optimize performance for real-time fleet tracking, compliance reporting, and driver-facing applications.
Work with backend teams (notably Go and Python) to integrate frontend experiences and ensure smooth data flow.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain code quality.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
Support infrastructure automation using cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
Stay current with industry trends and help recommend improvements.
Assist in defining technical standards and best practices.

Requirements

5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
Strong experience building scalable, maintainable web applications.
Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as SvelteKit or Svelte.
Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
Experience with RESTful APIs and real-time data streams.
Familiarity with cloud-hosted infrastructure and CI/CD tooling.
Experience with tools such as Git and Docker and modern build systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with fleet management/transportation software.
Mapping libraries and geolocation features.
Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).
Backend familiarity (e.g., Go and Python), open source contributions.
Experience with design systems and component libraries.
Comfortable with a home-office setup.
