About the role

Role: Junior Frontend Developer

You’ll support the design, development, and maintenance of modern web applications and user interfaces in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

Translate design mockups into functional, responsive, and accessible UI
Develop and maintain user-facing features
Ensure cross-browser compatibility
Optimize applications for speed and scalability
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visual and interactive elements
Participate in code reviews
Assist with debugging/troubleshooting
Contribute to documentation of technical specifications
Suggest improvements to team processes and stay current with front-end trends

Requirements

Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Interest in learning and keeping up with industry trends
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team
Good communication skills with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

Experience with a front-end framework/library such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
Degree in Computer Science / Web Development (or related), or equivalent practical experience and a portfolio
