About the role

Role Overview

You will join BayOne Solutions as a Frontend and Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions with strong attention to performance, security, and user experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications
Build responsive UI components with ReactJS and ensure cross-browser compatibility
Optimize site performance (site speed, browser storage management, memory usage)
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for frontend-backend communication
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers
Use Git workflows and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
Implement deployment and scalability using Docker and Kubernetes
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment
Ensure application security via best practices and regular vulnerability assessments
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot to maintain high availability and low latency
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Frontend: proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript; ReactJS and Webpack
Strong understanding of site speed optimization best practices
Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
Ability to manage browser storage and optimize browser memory usage
Backend: strong Node.js skills
Experience designing and building RESTful APIs for secure, efficient communication
Database experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture in Node.js
Awareness of backend performance optimization techniques
Understanding of security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure data integrity
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines
Cloud-native and DevOps exposure (GCP/Azure)
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
