Role overview

Remote (United States) — Full-time Frontend Developer. You’ll build and maintain high-performance, responsive UI for an AI-driven customer messaging platform. As a React and TypeScript specialist, you’ll also guide frontend best practices through mentoring, code reviews, and standards.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-quality user interfaces
Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver impactful features
Implement and optimize real-time messaging functionality using WebSockets
Maintain code quality via code reviews, testing, and frontend best practices
Ensure performance, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser/device compatibility
Stay current with frontend trends and improve development processes
Mentor junior team members and help define frontend guidelines

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience with React in a production environment
Extensive TypeScript experience
Strong React state management knowledge (e.g., Redux, Zustand)
Frontend testing experience (e.g., Jest, Vitest, Testing Library)
WebSocket experience for real-time communication
Build tooling experience (Webpack and/or Vite)
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and async data handling

Nice-to-haves

Experience in a Rails-backed environment
AWS knowledge (S3, CloudFront)
