Frontend Developer (Remote, US - CST preferred)

Role Overview

Temporary remote Frontend Developer role focused on website management and optimization. You’ll improve both the visual and functional aspects of the client’s digital experience by maintaining content, optimizing assets, and collaborating with backend teams to resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage website content and update website copy as needed
• Tag, optimize, and resize images/design assets for web usage
• Collaborate with backend IT to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting website performance
• Provide high-level design input and ensure mobile responsiveness
• Monitor and analyze website traffic using Google Analytics, pulling relevant insights for improvements
• Set up and manage SharePoint pages for administrative/management purposes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement design updates
• Ensure SEO best practices and maintain consistency across digital assets

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in web development or digital design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating websites developed or managed
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Strong knowledge of web image/video optimization
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Google Analytics and Tag Manager
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong communication

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Java and/or .NET
• Experience with CMS tools such as Kentico or Sitecore
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with Figma
• Experience with DAM systems such as OpenText Teamsite
