Frontend Developer | $70/hr Remote

Role Overview

Frontend Developer (Vue.js) — contract role (10–40 hrs/week) with remote work in the United States. You will build scalable, high-performance frontend experiences using Vue.js and React.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend solutions using Vue.js (and React)
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to convert wireframes and visual designs into responsive interfaces
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
• Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and mentor teammates when appropriate
• Work with backend engineers to integrate APIs and deliver cohesive product experiences

Requirements

• Extensive JavaScript expertise, including strong knowledge of ES6+
• Proven professional experience with Vue.js, including complex applications
• Solid production experience with React
• Strong CSS/SCSS skills and experience with responsive design
• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and version control, including Webpack and Git
