Frontend Architect (Remote)

Role Overview

Frontend Architect (Remote) — contractor basis. You will design, develop, and optimize frontend solutions (React-focused) and collaborate with backend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences that support next-generation AI systems (across domains such as finance, healthcare, and engineering).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize robust frontend solutions using React, HTML, and CSS with strong performance and usability.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure smooth user experience and system integration.
• Contribute to backend systems using Node.js (optional involvement in Python, Java, or .NET depending on project needs).
• Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and scalability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions in a distributed team.
• Translate complex business and domain requirements into technical implementation plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in React, HTML, and CSS with experience building responsive, accessible UIs.
• Backend service development experience with Node.js and familiarity with REST and/or GraphQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable working remotely with asynchronous communication.

Nice-to-Haves

• Prior full-stack development experience or frontend engineering with exposure to backend systems.
• No AI experience required (domain expertise and technical skill are emphasized).
