Frontend Application Engineer

Role overview

You’ll join DataAnnotation as a Frontend Application Engineer to help train AI models. Your work will involve assessing AI chatbot responses and improving model quality by evaluating correctness, logic, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide AI chatbots coding challenges and evaluate their outputs
• Assess AI-generated content for correctness and performance
• Solve coding problems (e.g., LeetCode/HackerRank-style) and clearly explain how your solution works

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one programming language: JavaScript or Python (also acceptable: C#, C++, HTML, SQL, Swift)
• Ability to solve coding problems and explain how your solution resolves the problem
• Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
• Detail-oriented approach
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows

Nice to have

• A Bachelor’s degree (current/in-progress/completed)

Compensation & logistics

• Remote (full-time or part-time)
• Independent contract role
• Paid hourly up to $60 USD/hour, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
