About the role

Role Overview

Front-End Web and Mobile Software Developer for a remote team based in Coral Springs, FL. You will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, responsive digital platforms that support patient care and streamline healthcare operations, working closely with design, product, and back-end teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Optimizely CMS solutions (reusable components, templates, content-driven experiences)
Build responsive, accessible, high-performance UIs using JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
Implement and optimize front-end applications using React, Vue.js, and Angular
Build cross-platform mobile apps with React Native, sharing logic between web and mobile
Integrate secure authentication/authorization using JWT, Azure Entra External ID (Azure AD B2C/CIAM)
Secure API communication with access/refresh tokens and role-based access control
Perform security audits and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA
Consume and integrate RESTful APIs, collaborating on API standards and error handling
Optimize for performance, WCAG accessibility, SEO, and scalability
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions
Troubleshoot front-end, mobile, and API issues across environments
Document architecture, design principles, and deployment processes

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
4+ years experience in front-end web and mobile development
Proficiency with Optimizely CMS (Episerver)
Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular)
Experience building cross-platform mobile apps with React Native (or similar)
Strong understanding of JWT, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
Hands-on experience with Azure Entra External ID (Azure AD B2C / CIAM)
REST API integration and testing (e.g., Postman)
Proficiency with Microsoft .NET, Razor Pages, MVC, and MVVM patterns
Experience working in Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills for a remote team

Nice to Have

Experience across multiple front-end frameworks (React + Vue + Angular)
Demonstrated security-first development practices and audit experience
