Front-End Web Developer

Role overview

You’ll design and build dynamic, user-friendly front-end web interfaces for both public websites and internal tools in a remote-first, globally distributed environment. The role focuses on translating wireframes into reusable, maintainable code while optimizing performance and delivering a consistent user experience.

Accountabilities

• Develop new user-facing features by translating design wireframes into functional UI
• Build reusable components and maintain code quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to bridge design and implementation
• Optimize application performance for fast, responsive user experiences
• Support internal UI tools and back-office interfaces to improve operational workflows
• Contribute to website optimization and frontend technical best practices (including SEO adherence)
• Stay aligned with evolving architectural standards and frontend frameworks

Requirements

• Proven experience with modern front-end frameworks, especially React and Angular
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS
• Solid understanding of SPA, SSG, and asynchronous request handling
• Experience with server-side CSS preprocessing and version control (e.g., GitHub)
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote/distributed team
• Dedicated workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection

Nice to have

• Automated testing experience with Cypress or Playwright
• Familiarity with Figma, Lokalise, and frontend security best practices
