Role Overview

Front-End Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain secure, cloud-hosted enterprise web applications for data visualization and interactive user interfaces. The role works in an Agile team focused on responsive UX and secure client-side practices.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain responsive web application interfaces using JavaScript and Vue.js.
Implement data visualization features, dashboards, and interactive UI components following established patterns and coding standards.
Consume REST APIs and integrate front-end interfaces with back-end services and custom components.
Translate UI/UX designs accurately while maintaining web accessibility and secure client-side practices.
Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Write front-end unit tests using tools such as Jest or Vitest; assist with cross-browser and integration testing.
Collaborate with back-end engineers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to deliver functional requirements.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize client-side performance and fix software defects.

Required Skills

5+ years of professional software development with a strong focus on front-end architectures.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
CompTIA Security+ (or ability to obtain).
Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and Vue.js (or similar frameworks with willingness to focus on Vue).
Experience connecting front-end applications to cloud-hosted REST APIs.
Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Vite and/or Webpack, plus basic DevSecOps practices.
Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain (Secret or Top Secret indicated).

Preferred Skills

Experience with Dynamics 365 and/or enterprise application platforms.
Experience supporting regulated or government systems.
Familiarity with BI tools or data visualization concepts.
