About the role

Front End Software Engineer

Build user-centric, accessible front-end experiences for mission-critical national security systems.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to deliver a seamless user experience.
Develop front-end functionality using React, Vue, and TypeScript.
Ensure the front end works across browsers, platforms, and devices.
Meet accessibility and security requirements.
Produce clean, maintainable, test-driven code; participate in positive code reviews and mentoring.
Contribute within an Agile, cross-functional development team environment.

Requirements

2+ years of software development/front-end experience (or 5+ years in lieu of a degree).
Experience with Vue.js, React.js, and/or TypeScript.
Strong HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design skills.
Experience writing test-driven and maintainable front-end code.
Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of software engineering experience, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice to Have

Micro-frontend architecture experience.
Front-end build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Babel.
JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Jasmine, or Mocha.
Containerization tools like Docker and/or Kubernetes.
Design systems / reusable component libraries.
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Git knowledge.
Debugging/troubleshooting for scalability and performance.
Knowledge of modern build/deployment and cloud-based application development.
