Front End Software Developer

Role Overview

Join BlueVoyant as a Front End Software Developer (full remote). You will design, develop, and maintain front-end applications and browser extensions for BlueVoyant’s MDR services, working closely with cross-functional teams to ship features and improve performance and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications and browser extensions for MDR services (notably Vue + TypeScript).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Research emerging technologies and evaluate tools/frameworks to improve the product.
• Rapidly prototype solutions to validate concepts.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and manage technical debt as the system evolves.

Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript and CSS.
• Proficiency with a major reactivity framework: Vue, React, Svelte, Angular, or Astro (Vue is specifically mentioned).
• Strong research and learning mindset; ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements.
• Solid understanding of modern front-end design principles and best practices.
• Experience developing user experiences for intuitive, dynamic, high-performance UIs.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Pinia, Redux, MobX).
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication/collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Proven Vue + TypeScript front-end development.
• Experience with Azure hosted applications.
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Vite, and related tooling (e.g., WXT).
• Knowledge of back-end integration with REST APIs and WebSockets.
• UI/UX design experience.
• Exposure to AI tooling and architectures such as RAG and Agentic Systems (e.g., Azure AI Studio).
• DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
