Role overview
Senior and Staff Front End Engineers to build and scale consumer-facing web and mobile web applications that serve millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver end-to-end development of major consumer-facing features (technical design through launch, experimentation, and iteration).
- Drive front-end architecture decisions, including:
- component design
- state management
- data-fetching strategies
- performance optimization
- Build and optimize key user flows such as event discovery, seat selection, and checkout (speed, reliability, UX).
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend to ship features impacting core metrics.
- Design, instrument, and analyze A/B experiments to validate hypotheses and guide product decisions.
- Implement front-end observability (error tracking, performance monitoring, real-user metrics).
- Contribute to and maintain design-system components and front-end standards.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers via code reviews, pairing, and technical leadership.
- Partner with mobile, backend, and platform teams for cohesive cross-platform experiences.
Requirements
Senior Engineer (typical)
- 5+ years of front-end experience delivering complex solutions independently.
Staff Engineer (typical)
- 8+ years of front-end experience with demonstrated leadership (cross-functional direction and mentorship).
Core technical skills
- React and TypeScript
- Modern state management such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Query
- Front-end testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress
- Web frameworks/patterns: Next.js, SSR/SSG, and edge-rendering patterns
- Data fetching: REST and GraphQL
- Build tools/version control and CI/CD practices
Product/UX & collaboration
- Experiment-driven development (e.g., A/B testing and data analysis)
- Strong UI/UX fundamentals: responsive design, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and cross-browser compatibility
- Excellent collaboration skills and passion for solving complex problems
Nice to have
- Shared design systems or component libraries
- Experience with React Native and cross-platform mobile development
- Interest/experience in AI tools, web3, or digital goods purchasing flows
