About the role
Role overview
Build and own the frontend of a greenfield custom CMS platform from scratch. You’ll work end-to-end on the UI, workflows, reader-facing templates, and editor tools in a small, fast-moving team directly with the CTO and CEO.
Responsibilities
- Develop the CMS frontend using React + TypeScript
- Translate wireframes/feature ideas into fully functioning UI/UX
- Implement responsive, performant, scalable interfaces for editors, advertisers, and readers
- Collaborate with backend developers on integrations involving Node.js, Python/FastAPI, and PostgreSQL
- Contribute to component architecture, state management, and frontend best practices
- Use AI-assisted coding tools daily to accelerate development while maintaining code quality
Requirements
- 3–6 years of frontend or full-stack development experience
- Proven ability to build complex single-page applications from scratch
- Strong React + TypeScript skills
- Comfort working with backend technologies (Python/FastAPI, Node.js, PostgreSQL)
- Daily usage of AI coding tools (required): Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor (or similar)
- Strong UX/product instincts and a startup mindset (self-directed, pragmatic, fast with minimal guidance)
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-tenant or white-label products
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD workflows
