About the role

Role Overview

You’ll join a small, high-output engineering team to build front-end features for Aptly’s enterprise SaaS platform. Your work helps CFOs, compliance officers, internal auditors, and operations leaders understand authority structures and make high-stakes decisions quickly.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain front-end features and reusable components using React and TypeScript
Translate complex governance concepts (e.g., authority hierarchies, approval chains, threshold matrices) into intuitive, interactive UI
Create data visualization components that provide real-time visibility into authority structures
Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to deliver fast, seamless experiences
Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
Collaborate with product and design to iterate on UX based on customer feedback
Contribute to front-end architecture, component library, and the design system

Requirements

3+ years as a front-end engineer with React and TypeScript
Experience building complex, data-rich enterprise/B2B web applications
Strong HTML and CSS fundamentals and modern front-end tooling
- e.g., Webpack/Vite, Jest/Cypress
Experience with REST and/or GraphQL
Strong design quality and craftsmanship mindset
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have

Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js or Recharts
