About the role

Role Overview

Volunteer Front-End Developer to design and develop user-friendly, responsive web interfaces. Work closely with the team to implement features and improve overall user experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain front-end features using modern JavaScript frameworks
Build responsive, accessible UI components following WCAG best practices
Collaborate on integrating REST APIs
Optimize application performance and usability
Participate in code reviews and use Git/GitHub for version control

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript
Experience with React and state management (Redux or Context API)
Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Tailwind, Material UI, or Bootstrap
API integration experience using Axios or Fetch
Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards
Experience with Git and GitHub

Nice to Have

Basic understanding of backend development and APIs
