Role overview
Mid-level Front End Developer to design, develop, and maintain web-based applications. You’ll work with senior developers to translate requirements into scalable, reliable code and continuously improve technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, test, and debug software applications
- Interpret project briefs and translate requirements into efficient, functional code
- Assist in gathering and refining technical requirements with stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Write and maintain scalable, reliable, and clear code aligned to project objectives
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects promptly
- Contribute to Java-based applications across multiple tiers
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Proficiency in React/Next.js and TypeScript
- Familiarity with Electron and JavaScript
- Experience with Web Services (SOAP or REST)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Experience with Sequelize and test-driven development (TDD)
- Familiarity with tools such as Visual Studio Code, PGAdmin, MongoDB Compass
- Basic understanding of Git
- Knowledge of RAD/Visual Studio and Windows Desktop OS
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DHS Public Trust Level 5 Clearance
