About the role
Role Overview
Mid-level Front End Developer (TCS232, T4, Band 7) at Maximus. This is a remote role contingent upon contract award and position availability. Active Secret clearance or above is required (TS/SCI highly preferred).
Responsibilities
- Provide subject-matter proficiency and analytical skills to support process improvement, studies, and requirements definition.
- Perform front-end engineering tasks, including:
- Creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and other documentation for PMO and stakeholder review.
- Designing and implementing modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs).
- Building, optimizing, and enhancing UI elements and overall system navigation.
- Facilitating operator ease of use for user-facing features.
- Build functional models and procedures; develop functional architecture and related technical/management documentation.
- Support software testing by preparing, conducting, and documenting system tests and results to verify operability and compliance.
Requirements
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance required; Active TS/SCI highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s may substitute for 2 years of experience).
- Experience:
- 7 years in the functional area.
- 7 years software development experience using object-oriented and scripted languages.
- 3 years bug tracking with Jira.
- 3 years recent and relevant front-end web design and development.
- 3 years testing web-based applications.
- 3 years participating in software development programs/projects.
- 5 years with Jenkins and GitLab.
- 5 years with at least five of: Apache Ember, React, Angular, JavaScript, Node.js, (and other listed items).
- Demonstrated experience with Agile and user-centric application design and best-practice UI/UX standards.
- Demonstrated experience producing wireframes/mockups for multiple user personas.
- Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
- Experience integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile Test-Driven development.
- Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments.
- 5 years CI/CD software development experience.
- UX design tool experience (e.g., Sketch, InVision).
