Front End Developer (Python / React)

Build modern, responsive web applications that replace legacy Excel-based workflows with scalable, user-friendly solutions. You’ll work in a secure, mission-driven environment with a collaborative team delivering innovative technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications
• Build modern UIs to replace spreadsheet-based workflows
• Integrate frontend apps with FastAPI backend services using REST APIs
• Create interactive dashboards and data visualizations for complex financial/business data
• Collaborate with backend developers to deliver seamless, scalable solutions
• Optimize for performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility
• Contribute across the full stack as needed and help shape frontend architecture

Requirements

• Must live in Virginia
• Sole U.S. citizenship required
• Public Trust clearance or higher
• Strong Python programming experience
• Experience with React, Vue, or Angular
• Solid understanding of RESTful API integration
• Experience building data-intensive web applications
• Knowledge of responsive design and modern UI best practices
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial/analytical data visualization
• Familiarity with FastAPI or other Python web frameworks
• Experience with spreadsheet-like UI components or advanced data grids
