About the role

Role Overview

You’ll build and maintain responsive, accessible front-end experiences in a WordPress-based ecosystem. You’ll translate UX and design requirements into clean, scalable front-end code that supports usability, engagement, and conversion goals, collaborating closely with UX, content, and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress pages, templates, and reusable components for scalable, maintainable web experiences.
Convert UX designs and requirements into responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Ensure consistency, performance, and scalability by following design systems and coding standards.
Optimize web performance (page speed, load times) and ensure cross-device/browser compatibility.
Support analytics implementation, including tracking, tagging, and data layer requirements.
Manage and update content and page structures in the CMS with accuracy and accessibility.
Perform front-end testing/QA for functionality, responsiveness, accessibility, and tracking accuracy prior to release.
Collaborate with UX, design, content, and development teams to deliver cohesive digital experiences.

Requirements

4–7 years of front-end or web development experience.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
Hands-on experience with WordPress (theme customization, page builders, and CMS content management).
Demonstrated ability to build mobile-first responsive websites across devices/browsers.
Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO best practices.
Familiarity with analytics concepts including GA4, tagging, and data layers.
Working knowledge of WCAG and inclusive design principles.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
