About the role

Role Overview

You’ll build and maintain responsive, accessible front-end experiences in a WordPress-based ecosystem. You’ll translate UX and design requirements into clean, scalable front-end code that supports usability, engagement, and conversion goals, collaborating closely with UX, content, and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress pages, templates, and reusable components for scalable, maintainable web experiences.
  • Convert UX designs and requirements into responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ensure consistency, performance, and scalability by following design systems and coding standards.
  • Optimize web performance (page speed, load times) and ensure cross-device/browser compatibility.
  • Support analytics implementation, including tracking, tagging, and data layer requirements.
  • Manage and update content and page structures in the CMS with accuracy and accessibility.
  • Perform front-end testing/QA for functionality, responsiveness, accessibility, and tracking accuracy prior to release.
  • Collaborate with UX, design, content, and development teams to deliver cohesive digital experiences.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of front-end or web development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress (theme customization, page builders, and CMS content management).
  • Demonstrated ability to build mobile-first responsive websites across devices/browsers.
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with analytics concepts including GA4, tagging, and data layers.
  • Working knowledge of WCAG and inclusive design principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
