FRONT END DEVELOPER II

Role Overview

Front End Developer II at Logistic Services International (LSI). You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications to improve operational efficiency and customer experience in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications aligned with business requirements
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional front-end code (visual consistency, usability across devices/browsers)
• Implement and optimize front-end features using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Build scalable, maintainable apps using React and AngularJS
• Integrate front-end components with backend REST APIs for seamless data flow
• Write and maintain unit tests and participate in code reviews
• Manage application state with Redux, Jotai, or Zustand; handle async data fetching with TanStack Query
• Apply schema validation (e.g., Zod or Yup) and perform data integrity checks
• Optimize for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
• Participate in Agile processes (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Document technical specifications and design decisions

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science/Programming or related field; alternatively associate degree + 2 years relevant experience, or high school + 4 years professional experience
• Minimum 3 years hands-on front-end development experience
• Portfolio evidence: involvement in at least three web application projects
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and modern frameworks including React and AngularJS
• Familiarity with:
  • Testing frameworks
  • State management libraries
  • Schema validation tools
  • CSS preprocessors
  • Build systems
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to work with general guidance
• Ability to obtain security clearance if required

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with additional technologies: Blazor, Xamarin.Forms, Adobe Animate, CreateJS
