Front End Developer

Role Overview

Design and develop web-based user interfaces for operational tools and capability management systems. You will create operator-friendly visualizations, build responsive and accessible web applications, and integrate front-end components with APIs and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop UI for operational workflows and capability management systems
• Build visualization dashboards for complex technical data
• Conduct user research with operators to identify workflow pain points and requirements
• Create responsive, accessible web applications suited for operational environment constraints
• Integrate front-end apps with back-end APIs, data pipelines, and capability infrastructure
• Implement real-time data visualization for operational status, system health, and mission telemetry
• Develop UI components that streamline operator workflows during mission execution

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional front-end development experience
• Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar)
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data
• Proficiency with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Plotly, Chart.js, or similar)
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
• Education/experience equivalency (examples provided):
  • Bachelor’s + 4+ years, or High School/GED + 8+ years, or Associate’s + 6+ years, or Master’s + 2+ years, or PhD + 0+ years

Nice to Haves / Other

• Exposure to real-time operational dashboards and complex telemetry data
• CONUS travel up to 25% may be required
