Front End Developer

Role Overview

You will design and develop front-end user interfaces for operational tools and capability management systems, with a focus on operator-friendly visualization and real-time telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Design and build web-based UI for operational workflows and capability management
• Create visualization dashboards for complex technical data in an operator-friendly format
• Conduct user research with operators to understand workflow pain points and interface requirements
• Build responsive, accessible web applications suitable for operational constraints
• Integrate front-end applications with back-end APIs, data pipelines, and capability infrastructure
• Implement real-time data visualization for operational status, system health, and mission telemetry
• Develop UI components that streamline operator workflows during mission execution

Requirements

• Experience level supported by one of the following combinations:
  • Bachelor’s + 4+ years
  • High School/GED + 8+ years
  • Associate’s + 6+ years
  • Master’s + 2+ years
  • PhD + 0+ years (progressively responsible experience)
• 3+ years professional front-end development experience
• Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, or similar)
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data
• Proficiency with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Plotly, Chart.js, or similar)
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
