About the role

Role Overview

Join AgileGrid Solutions as a Front End Developer (remote) to build responsive, user-friendly ecommerce and web interfaces. The role collaborates closely with designers, back-end developers, and clients, with availability required during U.S. east coast business hours.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement front-end web solutions aligned to client requirements
Create visually engaging, responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and related technologies)
Translate design concepts into functional pages through collaboration with designers
Customize and maintain content management systems (CMS) for performance and usability
Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues for clients and internal teams
Optimize websites for SEO and follow web development best practices
Participate in project planning, code reviews, and testing
Integrate third-party services when needed (ecommerce platforms, payment gateways, etc.)
Stay current with industry trends and tools to continuously improve skills and outcomes

Requirements

Proficiency in HTML and CSS, including responsive design principles
Experience with JavaScript and jQuery for interactive elements
Familiarity with graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL; some OOP experience preferred
Experience with CMS platforms: WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla
Excellent written and verbal communication; customer service-oriented mindset
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Effective time management; ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects
Self-motivated learner who can acquire new skills independently
Basic understanding of SEO and website optimization

Nice to Have / Bonus

Experience with ecommerce platforms and online payment gateways
Familiarity with web hosting environments
Experience with database-driven applications
