About the role
Role Overview
Remote Front End Developer role based in the United States (ideally CST). You’ll support a client’s website needs, including ongoing updates, optimization, and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Tag photos for website use
- Optimize images for the web (image/video optimization)
- Resize/adjust existing designs to fit web layouts
- Update copy (edit and replace website text)
- Work with the backend IT team to resolve site issues
- Provide high-level design input
- Perform mobile testing
- Pull and review analytics using Google Analytics
- Set up SharePoint pages (admin/management), with work handed off after setup
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience
- Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Web image/video optimization skills
- Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
- Google Analytics and Tag Manager proficiency
- Microsoft Office and SharePoint proficiency
- Basic understanding of Java and .NET (or other programming languages)
- Understanding of SEO principles (e.g., image optimization)
- Working knowledge of Kentico (or similar CMS such as Sitecore)
- Jira experience (plus)
- Figma proficiency
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration
- Portfolio required (examples of sites created; Fortune 500/in-house creative or IT environment preferred)
Nice to Have
- DAM experience (e.g., OpenText Teamsite)
- Jira
- Associate’s degree in Multimedia/Web/Graphic Design or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
