About the role

Role Overview

Outmarket AI is hiring a Front End AI Engineer to build intuitive, high-performance product experiences that make complex AI workflows usable and trustworthy. You’ll shape a scalable frontend foundation and design system while collaborating closely with design and backend teams.

Responsibilities

Build the user-facing layer of AI-powered insurance workflows used by real customers.
Collaborate with design and backend teams to ship seamless experiences in React based on Figma designs.
Create and maintain reusable UI components and scalable frontend systems.
Implement frontend features that interact with AI services (e.g., document review, entity extraction, quote comparison).
Rapidly prototype and iterate based on user feedback and changing priorities.

Requirements

2+ years building frontend applications with React.
Proficiency with Figma and design handoff workflows.
Strong product sense to translate complex workflows into clean UX.
Familiarity with REST or GraphQL APIs and state management patterns.
Good judgment on balancing polish vs. speed.

Bonus / Nice-to-Haves

Experience with data-rich or document-heavy interfaces.
Experience building LLM-integrated product experiences.
Modern dev-tool fluency (e.g., Cursor).
