About the role

Role Overview

Outmarket AI is hiring a Front End AI Engineer to build intuitive, high-performance product experiences that make complex AI workflows usable and trustworthy. You’ll shape a scalable frontend foundation and design system while collaborating closely with design and backend teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build the user-facing layer of AI-powered insurance workflows used by real customers.
  • Collaborate with design and backend teams to ship seamless experiences in React based on Figma designs.
  • Create and maintain reusable UI components and scalable frontend systems.
  • Implement frontend features that interact with AI services (e.g., document review, entity extraction, quote comparison).
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate based on user feedback and changing priorities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years building frontend applications with React.
  • Proficiency with Figma and design handoff workflows.
  • Strong product sense to translate complex workflows into clean UX.
  • Familiarity with REST or GraphQL APIs and state management patterns.
  • Good judgment on balancing polish vs. speed.

Bonus / Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with data-rich or document-heavy interfaces.
  • Experience building LLM-integrated product experiences.
  • Modern dev-tool fluency (e.g., Cursor).
