About the role
Role Overview
Joveo is hiring a Fresher Python Developer to build a career on a real, production Python codebase. You’ll write backend services and learn modern Python frameworks while shipping features to a platform that processes real-world hiring decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Write Python code for backend services, APIs, and data pipelines
- Work with and learn modern Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Django, or Flask)
- Fix bugs, add tests, and contribute to ongoing feature development
- Participate in code reviews (giving and receiving feedback)
- Learn engineering practices around testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Grow skills through mentorship, documentation, and hands-on projects
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recent graduate or up to 1 year of Python development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Python 3 fundamentals (including OOP and basic libraries)
- Familiarity with at least one Python web framework (Flask, Django, FastAPI)
- Understanding of basic SQL and relational databases
- Strong enthusiasm for learning, clean code, and engineering best practices
